Dr. Rocky Bacelieri is Board Certified by The American Board of Dermatology.

Dr. Rocky Bacelieri
Dr. Bacelieri received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Kentucky. He graduated summa cum laude and was also inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Continuing his education at the University of Kentucky School of Medicine, Dr. Bacelieri graduated with highest distinction honors and was also elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his internship in internal medicine and dermatology training at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois. Most recently, Dr. Bacelieri has completed a fellowship in Dermatopathology at the Medical University of South Carolina.
In addition to time spent at East Coast Dermatology, Dr. Bacelieri has also received a faculty appointment from the Medical University of South Carolina for his involvement in one half day clinic every week at the Charleston Veterans Administration Hospital. While providing dermatologic care to the veteran population, Dr. Bacelieri also instructs dermatology residents and medical students affiliated with the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Bacelieri’s training has prepared him for a broad array of dermatologic conditions of the skin, hair and nails in a patient population that may range from newborns to the elderly. With a keen interest in medical dermatology, Dr. Bacelieri utilizes his dermatopathology training to fully evaluate each patient’s condition and guide his treatment decision. Dr. Bacelieri’s goal, along with the professional staff at East Coast Dermatology, is to provide excellent dermatologic care by adhering to patient safety, providing patient education and ensuring patient satisfaction remains high.
Dr. Bacelieri remains true to his Kentucky roots as an avid Kentucky basketball fan. In addition, his personal interests include running, biking and spending time with friends and family.
